Application Deadline
Applications are due April 15th.
The Progetto Rocca funds up to two post doc fellowships a year. Fellowships amount to $ 51, 000 a year, and provide health insurance. Fellows are expected to spend 12 months at MIT.
The deadline for the submission is April 15th. The selection will be made by the Progetto Rocca Board members.
These Rocca Post-Doc Fellowships are meant to recognize and support young researchers of exceptional promise, but also to encourage ambitious collaborations between MIT and POLIMI faculty. The merits of the proposed collaboration will be essential in selecting the Fellows.
Applicants must have held their doctoral degree from POLIMI for no longer than 2 years and are expected to return to their POLIMI lab for at least one year of funded research after their stay at MIT.
Proposals must cover a two-year span. In the second year, we expect the Rocca post-doc fellows to return to Politecnico to continue working on their project with funding provided by the Politecnico Principal Investigator.
The proposals may be submitted either by a MIT or POLIMI faculty, and must be signed by two Principal Investigators—one from MIT and one from POLIMI. Only faculty with a PI status can sign.
Please note that availability of second year funding from POLIMI is a prerequisite for a successful application to this type of fellowship.
